When we have to protect ourselves from a field coming from outside the house, several solutions can be held: - Create a "Faraday cage" which isolates the place from the electromagnetic fields. For this we can use a painting made with carbon particles that is going to create this insulation. The Swiss Shield painting was created to this end. Power network: - If the "earth" is defective or does not exist, order for an earthing according to the standards (7 ohms) and on all the power plugs. - Install bipolar switches (which cut at the same moment the phase and the neutral). - Make, at least in bedrooms, a power installation with armoured cables. - Take away the electric sources from your bed (lamps, clock radio). - Equip certain parts of the power installation with biocontact breakers: they are devices allowing to cut automatically the power of an electric circuit when no device works and to restore it immediately when there is a power need. - Earth all the lamps and the household electrical devices (kitchen, stereo, computers, etc).
