RESUME
Living in the Riviera for more than 45 years, Christian Auroux studied geophysics in Nice. In 1984, he obtained a PhD in geology. Then, he got a position in the USA as Project Manager in an international research program dedicated to offshore scientific drillings.
During this time, he was, among others duties, in charge of the development of the drilling ship laboratory of geophysics, he also organised offshore drillings campaigns and was the scientific editor of the results.
On his return from the United States in 1988 having obtained a Doctorate in Earth sciences, he then worked in the petroleum industry, until 1991, steering studies of sites before implementation of drilling platforms.
In 1991, Christian Auroux met a team of the Louis Dreyfus group who dashed into the oceanographic studies for the installation of submarine cables, in technical collaboration with Ifremer. He became part of the pioneer team who started this type of studies. Up until 2002, he managed projects and led oceanographic operations.
He then managed a company restoring old historical frescoes in ancient memorials. He headed this company for 2 years from 2003 untill 2005.
In 2005, he discovered the real-estate business and becomes sensitive to the problems connected to the environment of living places.
In 2008, Christian Auroux creates “L’Onde Claire” (The Clear Wave) to address a public need concerning the electromagnetic healthiness of the places of life.
